William Markarian-Martin (b. 1989, Brussels, Belgium) is an award nominated filmmaker, living in Brooklyn, New York.

A graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS - UK), his work has been displayed at institutions including the Centre Pompidou (Paris), TATE Modern (London), with films displayed by renowned festivals and media partners including the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, Dazed Digital, Numéro Berlin, FACT Magazine, and Highsnobiety.

He has directed work for clients including: Levi's, Stella McCartney, BMG, NEDA, Native Instruments, and many more.

He is also the founder of Participant Records, and creative director of Artifacts.movie, an ongoing oral history project documenting the New York avant-garde.
